Hello! My name is Monica and I'm a photographer in New York City where I live with my husband and our daughter, Lucia. I like wearing stripes, studying maps, impromptu dance parties and taking pictures. When I first started writing Ciao, Chessa! (four years ago!) it was a place for me to tell the stories behind my photographs. Since then it has grown into a daily diary about art, photography, living in New York City, my little family and the people and things that inspire me.
