Pinhole Press Storybook
We do a lot of cuddly storytelling at night. Some of our favorites include Cinderella, The Tiger Who Came to Tea and Pinkalicious. But, one of our favorite tales isn't about made-up princesses, hungry cats or a girl who loves cupcakes - it's a day that actually happened months ago. I let her choose three stories a night and at least four times a week I get a request for Tiger Day. We went pumpkin picking in the Hamptons last fall and she still remembers the day like it was yesterday so I made her a book to be sure she really won't ever forget.
Pinhole Press, a company that I love, offers these amazing storybooks so you can record your memories in your own words. I made one for Lucia and wrote it exactly as I recite it to her every time she asks it at bedtime. It's not Shakespeare but it's our little story just the way she remembers it today and hopefully for years to come. The layouts are so easy and the site is very simple navigate. Like all Pinhole Press products, the paper quality is incredible. This one is perfect for tiny hands and fast flipping. I don't know who loves it more.
