When I dropped my girl off at school this morning I had to remind her to give me a little kiss and hug before going into her classroom. Apparently she was so excited to see her toddler classmates that she overlooked our little ritual of a smooch and a cuddle at drop-off. I didn't take it (too) personally. The last two weeks of her spring break have been so fun for both of us but she was ready to go back to her routine, see her friends and even have some time away from mom (sniff). The vacation started with freezing days and snow but slowly it seems like spring is officially coming around and we're both really looking forward to afternoons at the playground, wearing fewer layers, and going on fun adventures around the city. What are you most looking forward to this spring?
Here's a glimpse at our spring break via Instagram. And by the way, did you see that the New York Times used an Instagram portrait of Alex Rodriguez on the front page yesterday? Not everyone agrees with their decision to do so but it seems like the photographer didn't really have a choice at the time. I noticed the filter and frame right away and really liked the shot.

|I love this building in Chelsea. NYers are always short on space and I like how this person is keeping their bike in the window.|

|Finally! A trip to the playground that didn't require 5 layers plus hat, scarf, and gloves.|
