Joel Robison is a Canadian photographer who explores and imagines a surreal, fairy tale-like world with his images. His charming self-portraits where he appears in his personally created dream world are so imaginative and whimsical. I love the little fantasies he creates and my favorite from this series is the image of him floating away with a big, red balloon. And by the way, he has an Etsy shop where he goes by boywonder and sells a selection of his work that is not only beautiful but affordable!

They are really clever and inspirational.
haha! i totally did something like this last year. but it was much more...amateur. and ridiculous. i had just gotten my first real camera {not an slr but better than a crappy point and shoot} and i spent a couple hours trying to figure it out and made a silly little post called, "i ate myself for brekkie".

{not trying to hijack the post or anything, i just thought it was funny. :)}
