Shades of London Gray
New York has been so gray these last few days and the quiet, cool and rainy afternoons remind me of the weekend I spent in London last summer visiting friends. My stay was brief but lovely. We spent our days exploring small corners of the city, shopping, stopping for amazing meals and cocktails and catching up with each other. It felt so good to walk around the city with my cameras and just take pictures for the sake of taking pictures and recording moments -- for no other reason than because I was there and I love it. There were stories being told every where I looked.
I had tucked these photos away in a folder on my desktop and I remembered they were there while I was briefly daydreaming (procrastinating) looking out the window at the puddles of water forming on our patio. London is such a classic city and in black and white especially it is timeless and endlessly charming.
