One of my favorite photos from the summer (so far).
The summer has been slow and wonderful. I've taken an unofficial break from most things except spending time with my family and friends and really savoring little moments that are often overlooked. Not having a computer this week has not been as painful or stressful as I thought and hopefully by next week I'll be blogging and working on a sparkly new machine (yay!). In less than 24 hours we had an issue at our house that left our tenants temporarily without water (it was fixed!), a new appliance delivery took over three hours (ugh), and I received an email about my baby's start of school next month (I'm in denial). Too much reality for one day usually calls for some procrastination on Pinterest (while the girl naps) but alas, my computer is too slow and my brain is too crowded. Instead I've been staying alone in the rare quiet and really enjoying it. I've never really been able to completely disconnect but sometimes you just need a little blackout time to clear your head. I hope you're able to do that this summer too.
PS--Stay tuned for some fun posts and tutorials coming up in the next few weeks...especially one about printing your instagrams (I made a copy of the one on this post and I'm obsessed) for a gallery wall in your home!
