Perhaps you've heard photographers talk about it before. The magic hour when everything is just right...early in the morning and just before dusk. That wonderful time of day when everything seems to come together and not taking photos would be practically criminal...or at least very, very dumb. We caught it just in time the other day at the beach in East Hampton. When the sun was about to go down and it was so, so quiet and the light was dancing all around us.

She was too busy playing to look up so we could have a photo together. She could have stayed on that beach forever.

so beautiful! I love these beach shots they really are magical. I think you've inspired me to take my camera out for my morning runs now! {I can stow it away in the running stroller}. I always marvel at how perfect the sunrise is, I don't know why I've never thought about photographing it!
