Fridays

The first day when you start feeling better after a very, very bad cold is magnificent. It's like a huge cloud has been lifted and I could not be happier. This morning I made my girl pancakes and chased her around the apartment for the first time in days...days! She was so happy that her mama is back and in business that I actually felt like my heart would explode with love.

So this weekend she and I are getting reacquainted and I'm making up for all the lost kisses that I wasn't able to give her this week on account of the flu of doom.

In the meantime, here are some great links from around the web to get your weekend started...

I was in a very reflective mood this week and shared some old film work from past trips to Spain and France.

Doing the Big Shot Shuffle during New York Fashion Week.

So obsessed with Neil Krug's photos that I'll just have to feature him next week...swoooooooon!

Yum.

(Airplane) window painting.

How to overcome the "problem" of inadequate gear.

A lomo movie camera!

Since 2009, photographer Laurence Von Thomas has been running his blog ‘If You Leave’ as a place for contemporary photographers to submit their work. Now he has a second book inspired by the blog.

Speaking of books, I'm thinking of making one for myself made up of some of my favorite blog posts.  I want to have it for Lucia some day.  I'm thinking of doing it on Blurb.  Thoughts?
