My new Pinhole Press calendar hanging in my kitchen.
I haven't had a calendar up on a wall in years. Years! But isn't there something so lovely and nostalgic about them? One of my dearest friends in the world still has the calendar from the year she was born and her mother wrote "have baby" in ink on her due date -- I love that!
So I decided to make photo calendars with my work this year and like everything else that I make with my pictures, the printing quality was super important to me. Naturally, after making and receiving my holiday cards, I decided to go with Pinhole Press and I could not be happier or more impressed! The designs are clean and simple and the site is so easy-peazy to use. The quality is outrageous. Seriously. It was one thing to get my holiday cards and see and feel the gorgeous stock in my own hands but I was equally, if not more, impressed with the calendars. Stunning!
I'm giving them as gifts this year and one of you will get one too! How'd you like one of these for your wall?

Do you still buy the "old-fashioned" kind of calendars or do you keep everything online?

PS--Have you noticed I have a thing for gallery walls? There are a few others in my home...I think a how-to is in order.

these are incredible! would love one as well.
These are gorgeous! I love Pinhole Press :)
We've been buying an 'old fashioned' Mr. Winkle calendar every year for the last 10 years so that's become a tradition. And we just like to look at him. I tend to keep my appts. on my computer calendar. Your gallery walls are gorgeous btw!
I retweeted onto my Twitter!

Gorgeous calendars! I'm actually really loving pinhole press right now too, their prints are so great.
I would love to win this! I'm going to share the link as well as soon as I'm on a computer that gives me access to Facebook and Twitter...my work computer blocks both unfortunatley.
I print desk calendars every year, we have a great website in UK called Photobox! My mum regularly orders me calendars for all the relavites! Christmas shopping sorted! ;)

love it! i'm keeping this in mind for next year since i've already ordered my holiday cards, but i do think a custom calendar is in order! ps-yes please on the gallery wall tutorial. i need to know!
xo, m
I still buy the old-fashioned calendar. There's just 'something' about writing down birthdays and special occasions and being able to glance at it, without even meaning to, as you walk past.
I would love an NYC calendar! It's what my 2011 one is and it would mean even more for 2012 if I 'know' the person who took the photos.
Any chance you might be selling them to those of us who may not be so lucky to win one?
Would absolutely love one! Just moved house so the walls are still bare and just waiting for something beautiful to dress them up.
I love calendars, but must admit that I haven't had a tangible wall calendar in years! But these are sooo lovely!
I would love a tutorial on your galley walls!! They are fantastic! I haven't had a real calendar in years! I always have a day to day one at work. Now that I have a condo I think I'll have to find one!
Hi Chessa! One for my wall, on my bedroom, beside my Taylor swift poster! How cool is that! Yes yes yes!
I shared on Facebook :)

I don't use the calendars online because it hurts my eyes ;) if I even have to plan activities with an online calendar, I might go mental! I use a good old fashioned diary calendar, or I jot down dates on a pretty piece of paper;)
