From our Saturday evening walk along the High Line.
Today feels like one of those days when you just know that something great will happen. I don't know why. Maybe it's because the weather here in New York has been so glorious, maybe it's because we had such a beautiful weekend with friends and our girl. Or maybe just because. Either way, I'm going to enjoy every second since it is Monday after all.
Here's a look at our weekend via Instagram.
And by the way, in case you missed it, here's a post of my personal favorite photography apps for iPhone.
An unexpected bouquet that has brightened up our home all week.
Our girl getting her morning Sesame Street on. She needs Elmo and Big Bird like her mama needs coffee.
The view from our room during our little staycation.
Walking on the High Line.
Looking at this while we waited for the elevator.
Brunch near the High Line.
She spent a lot of the summer staring longingly at all the kids running around one of favorite parks in our neighborhood. Since she couldn't walk yet she would sit there lunging herself toward the fun. Yesterday we thought we'd hit up the swings and sandbox (HUGE surprise since she used to hate the sandbox) and on our way out she was staring at the kids going bananas in the water. So I just put her down and let her go for it. It was one of those afternoons that I will never forget. Best. Time. Ever.
