Instagram Weekend

We had one of the best weekends we have had in a long time.  First of all it was the first weekend that we had absolutely nothing on our agenda and our first full weekend in our new home since we moved here almost six weeks ago!  We had big plans to go to a friend's fourth birthday party but the poor baby was sick so her mom and dad cancelled and we ended up staying home.  We were sad not to see all of our friends and their kids but it was just as well because we ended up having a lovely weekend of nothing but long walks, cuddles, visits to the park, juice boxes for baby, wine for the grown-ups, meals out and lots of playtime.

I suspect that this will be a fantastic week.  We've got a heat advisory here in New York City so visits to the water park and dips in the baby pool will definitely be in order.  And, we're gearing up for a mini vacation with the baby and some friends next week!  Can't wait.

Here's to a great week where ever you are!  And in the meantime, here's my weekend in Instagram.

I love New York but I really love how certain parts of my new neighborhood make you feel like you're actually out in the middle of the country and not in the city.

New shoes for fall!  I nearly died when I saw these at Daffy's.  LOVE!  I wish I could find them in my size.

The summer sky in New York is so gorgeous and even more so lately.  I thought this looked so cool in black and white with the lines of the building and the wood paneling from the park.  All those straight lines with the softness of the clouds.  Amazing.
