After the blogger blackout of 2011 wiped out half of my posts and comments last week I never got around to publishing a belated post on Friday once the site actually started working. What was that?
On Saturday my niece turned three and we celebrated with her at the Bryant Park carousel. I think the grown-ups had as much fun as the kiddies! Lucia waved at everyone we passed on the carousel and I was happy that not only did my husband also take the baby on the ride (not that he complained - he loved it as much as she did) but my mother took turns with me sitting on the ride with her because I get dizzy so easily. My mom's a trooper though because she has three grand-daughters to satisfy....that's A LOT of trips on the carousel! We stayed in pretty much all day Sunday and went out for a short walk before it started to rain again so the rest of the time was just the three of us and some peace and quiet. Perfection.
What about you?
Here's a glimpse of my weekend in Instagram.

Silk bows and patent leather for the playground.
Wearing a lavender tutu and all smiles at her cousin's birthday.

Our love of leopard is a family affair. My sister and niece rocking the leopard print shoes.
