Last week two tremendously talented photographers, Tim Hetherington and Chris Hondros, were killed while covering the humanitarian crisis in Libya. The photography community is devastated over this tragic loss.
Tim Hetherington was a storyteller and I think the people over at Double 7 Images put it best when they said that "he put a lens on the realities of human struggle and ultimately, the quest for basic freedoms that we all deserve, yet form the basis of our conflicts when they are withheld."
Take a look at his work and read about his Oscar nominated film, Restropo.
