World of Windows

Profotio is sponsoring a photography contest and the theme is windows. This is right up my alley. House windows, car windows, apartments, whatever - I like to make up little stories with my photos about what's happening on both sides. Living in New York I end up staring out my own window and wondering what's going across the street in the homes of my countless anonymous neighbors. Sometimes you see a shadow, the glare of a television, someone standing just staring out into nothing, on the phone, whatever. I like to make up little stories about them and wonder if they're as quirky (ie. weird) as I am doing the same thing about me.

Here are some of my favorite images of this little fascination of mine.

Number 3 is classic but number 7 is my favorite in this bunch. I entered that competition. Thanks for posting about it. Fingers crossed.

DUDE, I so do that...make up little stories I mean about what peeps are doing behind their walls. Too funny! That laundry shot is still one of my absolute faves!

This might be my favorite collection of yours. That top one is so industrial, I love the Italian clothesline, the raindrops on windows, and of course my (MY!) Hamptons house. :)
