French Daydream

The other day I received a call from a designer client who I've worked with in the past. I was very pleased to learn that she wanted to order more work from me and she needed to do it right away because she was getting on a plane to Paris. Le sigh...

I'm so terribly far behind right now with literally hundreds of images to process for different clients and projects but I'm getting to them and delivering. I'm not complaining because let's face it, I love what I do. But, part of me wishes I was getting on a plane to Paris. I want to pack up my little family and jump on a plane to show ma belle petite fille the city of lights. I didn't visit the place, in fact I didn't visit Europe, until I was 20 years old and moving there for a semester in college, but something tells me my girl will be going there much sooner. I cannot wait.

In the meantime, here are some of my favorite images from my past visits. I've shared most of them here before which clearly means that I need to update my archives with photos from a new trip but if you're new to the blog then you're likely seeing them for the first time. And, to be honest, one of my favorite things about Paris is that it is at once familiar and also brand new. Either way, the city haunts me and inspires me. Oh, and in black and white...timeless. It is one of my favorite places in the world.
