Clean Plates and Photoshoots and Weekends

Friday is here again. I have no idea where the week has gone but I'm just happy to be going into the weekend with a clean plate and a clear head. Last night I packaged up a lot of work to send off to clients today, my office is (almost) clean and tidy again and in almost one week we are taking Lucia on her first plane ride and her first trip not only outside of New York, but outside of the U.S.A. To say that we are excited is a major understatement. But...first things first. I'm keeping my head in New York...for now.

Among the many things I had going on this week, I took the time to meet with the lovely and talented Jennine of The Coveted,
Eat, Sleep, Denim and
Independent Fashion Bloggers. Our little afternoon came at a perfect time - I was feeling stressed and tired and just needed some time to unwind, have adult conversation, talk about shoes and other fun things and have cupcakes!

She's wearing this awesome fisherman sweater upside down! Talk about innovative. She is beyond. It looks amazing.


In love with these booties. They look like the perfect shoes for comfort and style and Jennine said she was contemplating getting them in white because they felt so good on her feet. I wasn't sure but then on second (and third, fourth and fifth) glance I say go for it!
