Back in Business

We are back in business! After some much needed time away and a (fortuitous) internet failure at home for almost a whole week, I'm back on the blog and so excited about it.

In the coming weeks I will be bringing you some amazing guest posts from some of my favorite bloggers. I'll also be sharing some photos of my girl and, soon, blogging again about some fabulous art and photography events in New York and of course my own work!

In the meantime, of course I'm taking a million photos of little Lucia Isabella since she was born but I've been so tired that I feel like I just don't have the energy for my usual pro photos. Is that crazy? I see these moments happening right in front of me everyday and I honestly cannot move away from her in time to take a picture. I don't want to miss anything so I find myself recording it in my mind rather than on my camera. I think it's ok - of course there are a few of those moments where the camera was handy and I just snapped away but most of my favorite photos are those take by other people. I have a few fun shoots planned with her for when she gets a little bigger and of course I plan on taking many, many images of her just because as soon as I'm feeling more like myself. For now, here's little Lucia Isabella when she was just eight days old (she will be six weeks old this week!) as captured by my dear friend and fellow photographer, Audrey Michelle. She'll be gracing your screens via this blog in the coming days with a guest post.
