Sandra Leidholdt. There is nothing quite so perfect as capturing a new life, is there?

About four times a year, my husband and I donate to Save A Sato, one of our favorite animal rescue organizations. This year, we’re giving to the Humane Society and The Audubon Society, too, in support of their efforts in Haiti and the Gulf. It’s harder than ever for people to donate right now, but charity should never fall off our list of priorities—these animals and so many other worthwhile causes need us.
To Monica and baby L: huge kisses and hugs! Thank you for having me here.
Love,
Melisa

Fabulous guest post from one of my favorite ladies. I've volunteered with the Humane Society for years...and I agree, now is the time to do everything we can!
I love Save a Sato, and Manos por Patas! When I found a little hurt dog in Puerto Rico that no one cared about, it was they who helped me find someone to get him off the beach.
We then adopted him :)
Amber, we adopted our dog, Paco, from Puerto Rico, too! A woman found him on the street and brought him to her restaurant, and my friends and I happened to eat there. A few days later, he was on a plane home with me! She told me about Save A Sato and I've been involved ever since. If I could, I would adopt every one of the satos.
