Dear Summer
The bright sun and blue skies over New York City are deceiving this morning. What better way to start a rather cold Monday than to enjoy the Forgotten Memories of Summer photograph series by Amanda D'Arcy. She uses infra-red light to make the image in the camera and the result is a dreamy, magical view into her world that is anything but black and white. I'm longing for summer, or at least a warm spring afternoon. In the meantime, I'm day dreaming via these images.

i really love these photos. i want summer here too. ;) it really is not summer all year round for me, but you think it would be.
