Secret Corners
I went back to my archives and found these images that I took in Italy last year. I fell in love with all of the secret corners of Florence. When you come upon a place like this and all you see are dancing lights and shadows, you feel like you might be the only person to have ever been there. You find yourself in the middle of a bustling and deeply historic city but there is not another person in sight and it's so quiet you can hear your own heartbeat. But, you know that someone lives there and that maybe just a second before you got there someone turned the corner out of sight.
