After our fun night we decided to go out to the beach for our long weekend where we were greeted by a huge snowstorm. Friday night there was already a coat of white on the ground from the previous fall and when we woke up on Saturday morning it was like something out of a movie. I went out to the porch and I had never heard such quiet. Amazing. It was magical.
We got ourselves together and went out for a drive to the beach. They don't plow all the roads in the Hamptons so we definitely got a little worried that we'd get stuck even with our four-wheel-drive. It was worth it.
I took A LOT of photos with my Nikon d300 but of course I took a few more with my beloved and very handy iPhone. I was freezing but I have so much fun with my iPhone that I busted it out. I also decided to take some videos with the phone. I don't think anyone in Hollywood has anything to worry about but I had fun.

so. you've just confirmed what i've been suspecting. my god, i can't believe i'm saying this, but there have been more than SEVERAL occasions when i've preferred the shots i've gotten with my iphone to the ones i took with my fancy canon dslr!
any iphone camera apps you love and would recommend? i'm having fun with old camera and toy camera. these shots are GORGEOUS, giovanna! they have a mild, soft low-fi holga feel to them, and damned it they weren't taken with a CELL PHONE.
granted, that has much to do with who was taking them... you are a woman of great talent!
