Middle of Nowhere

One of the most incredible places I have ever visited is the Patagonia region of Argentina near San Carlos de Bariloche. We went to Buenos Aires to visit my family and friends and then we took a trip to this surreal place for a few days.

When ever I have one of those days where I feel completely overwhelmed and need to bring my mind back to peace, I think about this place where it was so quiet and untouched that I felt like we might have been the only people in the world to have ever been there.

Where do you mentally take yourself when your mind needs a little break?

Today's Soundtrack:
Orinoco Flow - Enya
I loved Enya. In high school I studied to this music, rested to this music, read to this music...everything. Listening to it now takes me back.

Ahhh, so can we please be friends so we can visit Patagonia together? I've heard amazing things about Patagonian food too. Mmmm.

I need to find a mental vacation place. I find myself getting lost in books, stories or music when I want a break.

That does look like one amazing place. I check out and travel to Jamaica in my mind! I have a cup of Jamaican blue while looking out at the blue water. Sigh.

These are some fantastic photographs. I'm loving them and longing to head to a place to unplug and unwind. Perhaps after the holidays a holiday is in order?
