It's the First (Official) Day of Winter

Today is the Winter Solstice. The first day of winter and the shortest day of the year. We got a lot of snow (okay, a blizzard) here in Manhattan so I'm celebrating today by taking photos in Central Park. I attempted to take some photos yesterday but it just didn't happen.

Did you enjoy the snow this weekend? How are you celebrating the Solstice?

Happy Monday!

Here are some photos that I took last winter in the snow here in New York.

Can't wait to see what comes of your Central Park excursion. That photo of the white bird that you took last year is incredible. And love the Brooklyn fire escape time lapse--thanks for sharing!

The only thing I enjoyed about the snow were these lovely photos
I have to shovel the sidewalk when it snows and it takes all the joy out of it

Thank you for sharing the photos with us

These pictures are stunning, rally makes you really appreciate Winter:) And as a Canadian sometimes I forget how gorgeous winter can be when I'm shovelling my car out of the driveway.
