Bruce Weber is one of my favorite photographers and Rob Pattinson is not one of my favorite actors but he definitely plays one of my favorite vampires.
I really love stories about fantasy and the supernatural. When I was a kid I loved stories based in fantasy...talking animals, faraway places, magical lands...yes, please! It doesn't surprise me in the least that I would love The Twilight Saga as an adult.
Don't stop reading, please! I love the idea that two people who are so different can love each other. I love the drama and the tension of the story and yes, I love the vampires, shape-shifters, shields, fantasy...all of that.
The characters exist only on the page but in my imagination they come alive - like with all great stories. Photography is a lot like fantasy - Photographers are storytellers. People in photographs are characters just as "people" in books of fiction and when you have a genius like Bruce Weber to work with, those people can be whoever they want to be...or whoever he wants them to be.

I'm kind of in love with the lobster and corn shot. ...and the colors in the second one with the blue plaid coat. These are amazing.

Definitely cool shots. I know little to nothing of the actor or the book/movies. Ha, ha, according to my wife that is for the best ;).
The lobster picture is a nice touch of hilarity amongst all that somber brooding.
Ok - still have to dive into Twilight - but Pattinson looks effing GORGEOUS!!
And the crazy guy I used to date knew Bruce Weber from years back and showed me some of his work - his work is magical!

he is indeed gorgeous, is he not? he just has a look. I don't know if he's the greatest actor but he's definitely an amazing, brooding, mysterious and wise beyond his pretend 17 years, Edward Cullen. sigh..swooonn!!! pick up the issues to see the other photos! and stay tuned to the Vanity Fair website bc they are releasing more photos in the coming days and weeks! :)

Btw, I'm in the final third of reading New Moon and totally into it. I trash talked those books so bad before I actually started reading them. I'm so eating my words, they take me back to what it was like to be in love for the first time and being in lust for the first time. Dreamy stuff.
