Downtown on Beaver Street
Yesterday I was all over the city. First I went downtown to shoot some images that were commissioned and after I finished I wandered around the Wall Street area, I had lunch with my sister and niece, then I went up to the Flatiron for a meeting and then I went to the bookstore in Union Square. I had my d300 and 18-200mm glass around my neck and my iPhone in hand all day. It's sort of freeing. The same as if I were shooting with my Polaroid. It's funny that these little cameras are so limited but also liberating at the same time. Does that make sense? I think so.

My sister.

Her baby.

Empire State Building from Fifth Avenue in the Flatiron.

Bikes near Union Square.
Happy weekend!
Today's Soundtrack:
Shakira-She Wolf
Words cannot accurately express how much I love Shakira. I've been listening to her music since I was 16 years old. I saw her in concert with my sister and it was the best concert I have ever been to. She sang every thing...the majority was in Spanish which of course, I loved because those are the roots and she never forgets that. Oh I love her.
