On some days at the beach this summer the fog was so melancholy and almost foreboding. It sort of matched the hard splashes that the waves made as they crashed against the shore. On other days it was hopeful because the people came out to enjoy the warm weather and the sand in their toes despite the "bad" weather. I like the beach at any time...when it's cold and rainy, when it's foggy and a little sad, when the sun is blazing and SPF 50 doesn't seem to be enough. I like the details of each one of those days.

Today's Soundtrack:
Band Of Horses - No One's Gonna Love You
I think this is my new favorite.
