I started packing three days ago. We're going to be out at my parents' house, hanging by the pool, drinking my dad's famous white sangria and doing a whole lot of absolutely nothing. I plan on sitting in the shade by the pool and reading my new book (non-Vampire related this time - although I am having Twilight Saga Withdrawal since I finished Breaking Dawn the other night so I might just start all over again-I think I'm going to save them for our two-week vacation in August) and just spending time with my amazing husband and family.
What about you? Any big plans this weekend?

I have yet to decide what to do with the weekend. Perhaps a little shopping is in order. Or simply a bit of reading - I'm on a chick lit binge myself. As long as I'm free from work, I'm happy doing anything! :)

So jealous of everyone back in the U.S. The 4th of July is the worst time to be away from home. All of my American friends (and Swedes for that matter) will be out of town, and I'll be all by my lonesome for the 4th. I'm homesick already...

Thursday is totally the new Friday. I'm teaching summer school and there's no school on Friday's! It's hard remembering that the rest of the world doesn't have the same summer schedule!
I'm thinking about re-reading the Twilight series this summer too.... I'd suggest the Uglies series to get you through until your vacation. They're quick reads~ take place in the future, not vampires, not love stories, but were really good summer reading. Easy and fun. -e

I am housesitting right now, and will be through the weekend. I have no big plans other than sitting by the owner's pool, relaxing, and reading a book with a beer.
I need to finish the Twilight series. I read the first one near the start of the year and am hooked. Will be reading the rest over my vacation!

Lol, Thursdays are the new Friday and Weekends are the new black.
Hope you enjoy yours - the hope for mine is love and work and love... But I want to be indoors for a sweet change, maybe a relaxed cafe if I feel the need.
