Are you in New York City this weekend? If so, head over to Factoriem in the East Village for an exhibit featuring the work of various local artists, including myself, on Friday, July 17th from 6pm to 9pm.

Factoriem is located at:

179 Orchard Street
between Houston and Stanton

This beautiful, little shop features the designs of new and emerging brands and designers in its clean space. A recent review said: "The selection is nicely edited, with four racks of clothing, and only a few shelves of accessories;
statement-making dresses are priced at about $300 to $700, and tops from $100 to $400."

So stop by and see some great local art and help to stimulate the economy with a little shopping!

It's going to be fabulous...here's a bit of what I'm showing...

Today's Soundtrack:
Muse - Starlight
It's been a mere three weeks since I finished reading the Twilight series. I'm still trying to get over it but thankfully the soundtrack has been fueling my addiction as I slowly count the time before I get to read them all again during our vacation in August. I recently added the "Twilight" station on my list of Pandora stations...yes, I have an addiction but I admit it. You should check it out...this song came over the station this morning. Love it. I'm not sure why this one didn't also make it to the soundtrack since Stephenie Meyer is obsessed with Muse, dedicated Breaking Dawn to the band and thanked them a dozen times in each of the volumes. I actually think I may have included this song on a soundtrack before but I love it so much that it deserves a second posting, if so.

Happy Tuesday!
