My Refuge

I pay attention to detail. I ask A LOT of questions. Every where I go, I like to take in my surroundings. When I was a practicing attorney this was a very important skill, but, it's something that I've always been proud of, a quality that is a distinct part of my personality. It's not something that is taught or learned, it's just part of who I am. I don't miss anything, I notice everything, and, I remember the most random of the random details. I'm a good listener and an excellent rememberer.

The other afternoon, after my photo shoot, I walked through Central Park. I hadn't really taken the time to do that since before I left Big Law. I've walked through the park but I haven't really walked through the park. This might make sense only to me but it's true. So, I really walked through the park. The trees are more gold this year than ever before and the place is more serene than ever.
