Today is a cold, rainy New York day. I'm working from home all afternoon processing photos from a child's photo session and from last weekend's engagement party. In a nutshell, I'm very busy. I'm not feeling that urge to do a million other things because the weight of these photos, for which I've already been paid, is sitting on my shoulders...so, I'm going to get to it. I'll also be listening to my
Carla Bruni station on Pandora with the hope that I get inspired to write a more meaningful post other than "boo hoo! I have writer's block!"
The good news (for me) is that this weekend we are going out to East Hampton with some friends for a much needed break and also to take some photos of the beach in autumn...I've been commissioned for them. And, the following weekend I'm going to Miami with my mom, sister and Palomita and hopefully I'll be talking to some "people" while I am down there about another project. After that, the most amazing thing that I have to look forward to is that Abulin, my grandmother who lives in Argentina, is coming! This will be the third time we see each other this year. She was here when Paloma was born, then I was down there for the art show in July and now she's flying up here for a couple of month! yay! Look for pictures of her on here soon. She looks twenty years younger than she is and she is always perfectly coiffed, she is the most incredible cook and she always has an answer for everything - she's like an encyclopedia.
Now I'm off to lose myself in the depths of photo shop.
