Since I've been putting my book together I've been spending a lot of time in the photography section of Barnes and Noble. My favorite location is the one in Union Square. I usually go up to the Starbucks, get my tall skim latte (no sugar), browse and grab a few photography magazines and head over to the photography book section. I've been flipping through many books, getting ideas, looking for inspiration and creating my own. I read this quote and I cannot remember where. Like everything I read that really touches me I wrote it down in my moleskin planner and I read it every day. I wish I remember where exactly I read it and who said it because I find myself reading it each time I'm feeling like I need some motivation or self-validation...

"Photography might be a tool for helping you to find out who you are as long as you don't think that's what you're doing."
