The Procrastinator

I procrastinate. Well, that's not entirely true. On some level we all procrastinate. In this instance, I have just been busy with so much else. When I started this blog I promised myself that I would post everyday. I told myself that even if it was just two lines of simple words accompanied by a few images, I would leave my little mark here on a daily basis. This hasn't happened. Today I was kindly reminded by a friend that my blog "has, ehm, slowed down quite a bit..."

Here are a few images of a recent protest to boycott the 2008 Beijing Olympics down Second Avenue in Manhattan. I've been meaning to post these since the day of the protest a few weeks ago. These protests are happening all over the world and in a way it is comforting to see people uprising for this cause. There does not seem to be enough of that...at least not reported by the media. With so much happening in the world we live in, how can we not stand up for what we believe in?
